FOTD with Loreal True Match foundation

Monday, 22 September 2014

Good morning!

A FOTD post for you all today, I was in a bit of a rush so used products I knew would deliver results, and this took me less than 10 minutes. I was going out for food with a friend and only wanted something very simple. She's used to seeing me in no makeup any way, so having anything on my face at all was an improvement.

I also used my holy-grail mascara - the Max Factor False Lash Effect mascara which apparently I forgot to add to the photo above, oops. But on to the star of today's show. I really like the Loreal True Match foundation, I'm shade N3. I find that it's a decent level of coverage; it can definitely be built up to more of a medium coverage. Personally I like a lighter foundation and would much rather up the level of concealer before reaching for a heavy coverage foundation. That said, this is very blendable so can be as light or as heavy as you prefer. It lasts well although I do need to powder throughout the day, but that's generally the case with any foundation for me. They have such a great range of colours so definitely worth checking out if you haven't already.

Please excuse my brows, I'm growing them out as best I can and have been for a few weeks now. Therefore they're aren't as tamed as they normally would be but I'm determined to not let it get to me to allow them get as thick as possible. Damn over-plucking as a youth. A message to all teenagers - step away from the tweezers!

Mmmm don't you just love bruschetta.

Hope you all had a lovely weekend!
